Does global warming mean every place on earth will get warmer? Not necessarily. If earth’s wind and ocean systems change, some areas that are now warm and dry may get cooler and wetter. As the earth’s atmosphere and oceans adjust, weather patterns may be altered that create unexpected changes in temperature and precipitation.
Not all scientists agree on how the earth’s climate will change because of global warming. There are many complex relationships between the atmosphere and the earth’s surface. To try to predict what will happen, all of these factors must be accounted for. These must be turned into mathematical formulas and run through powerful computers, that will give a prediction for climate change. If someone believes one variable is more important than another, this will change the end result.
