Very helpful thread, thank you! I plan to remove a dying honey locust tree this year. It has already sent up one 2 foot sprout near the base of the tree. The tree is in the middle of a flower bed. Once I use something like Tordon RTU on the stump, is it possible to grind the stump to remove it? How long after application should I wait for stump grinding? Will poison remaining in broken up stump damage surrounding plants?
