How would you go about topping a white pine, so that it comes back nicely in the spring?? I was not sure if I should just cut a good portion off the top an try to have it sucker out. Hoping you can help me out here

Greetings Matthew!

Well, not exactly sure what your intent is here? Will it come back, yeah, but not the terminal leader you cut - more than likely a lateral leader will take its place, thus leaving you in the same predicament in years to come.

Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, I may or may not be able to give you better information - or better yet - a more defined recommendation.
