I have a black wallnut tree that is directly beside my property in my neighbours yard.The fruit and husks have stained my entire concrete walkway and patio.Also from the nuts filling my eaves on my house the and glogging my drains-rain water overflows over my eaves and the stain is now running down my stucco and streaks of purplish,black stains are present-do you know how you can remove these stains? My dogs have ate the husks and got sick from them(they look like balls to them?) is there any ill effect from eating the husks for dogs? thankyou so much deborah hill in ontario canada

Well, I've tried and tried to find information to remove black walnut stains from concrete, but with minimal success. If I find a valid remedy, I'll post to this thread again with an answer.

Regarding your dog, upset stomach and diarrhea are the most common ailments of ingesting the husks. Muscle spasms and seizures can also result.
