Northern Red Oak: Gymnosperm or Angiosperm?

are the red oak leaves gymnosperms or angiosperms? i'm doing a biology project on illinois leaves and i need an answer for that questionif you could give me one, i'd appreciate it.

Greetings Shannon,

Broadleaf species such as oak, hickory, ash, maple, walnut, etc. are angiosperms.

Needle-leaf species such as pine, spruce, fir, hemlock, baldcypress, larch, etc. are gymnosperms.
