Green Ash for Stumpage?

I have several stick straight 75+ foot Green Ash trees in the yard. Thinking about getting ahead of the beetle and doing something useful with the lumber before they become diseased. If they are sold standing, does the Kane County firewood quarantine apply? If diseased and I don't know it yet, are they still of value as stumpage?

Thanks for all your great replies!

Greetings Dave:

Since you are in the EAB qurantine zone, movement of any ash material is strictly regulated. More information about the quarantine can be found at:

Yes, there is still potential as stumpage if you can utilize it and/or market the trees.
