I have a black walnut tree I would like removed, but was informed they can be very valuable. How would I go about finding someone to identify, and then take down the tree? And are they worth much?

Might I suggest you contact your local state forestry agency or your local Cornell Extension office. They can provide you with a list of local arborists, portable sawmills, or timber buyers.
