Tree with White Powdery Patches (OH)

I dont know which tree it is but the tree branch has some white powdery patches on it. I suspect it to be termite infestation. Is it so and the tree also is bending a lot Can u suggest wht should we do or what exactly has happened to the tree

Without any further information or pictures, I suspect it is fungal white powdery mildew. HOWEVER, I strongly suggest you contact your local Ohio State University Extension office for potential on-site assistance and identification.
