My utility company contracted with a tree company to clear the right of way along my street. in my opinion my 25 year old oak tree was "over trimmed". the tree now only has limbs on 1/2 of the tree and is basically destroyed. I also consider the tree a safety hazard since it is now heavy on the side that faces my house. i guess 2 of my issues is that the 90 ft tall pine trees on the other side of the street that are leaning towards the power lines were never touched but they also cut my neighbors cherry tree down to the ground. i'm sorry but i have never noticed a cherry tree grow large enough to interfere with a power line 40 ft off the ground. Can you recommend any actions that I can take against the power company/tree contractor.
thank you for your time. I can provide pictures if they would help clarify the severity of the trimming.
