I have a volunteer tree growing and need help with ID. It has thorns , opposite leaves , serrated produces clusters of cone shaped flowers I can not figure out how to attach photo but if you email me send an attachment back thank you

Hi Carol: Send photos to jhayek@illinois.edu Higher-resolution photos are certainly preferred--I will only be able to identify this tree if you send me images sufficient in quality. Please take pictures of the leaves, twigs, buds, fruit, bark, flowers, etc.
