Birch Trees in Chicago Area (IL)

Where would I find the closest birch tree forest to Chicago? I am looking to take an images of a birch grove. Thank you, Stephen

Greetings Stephen: Please contact the Forest Preserve Districts in Lake and Cook County to see if any of their staff specialists can help you locate some stands of paper birch as I believe there are some native stands along the dunes and in Lake County. If not, you may have to extend up into Wisconsin to find some paper birch. Best of luck!
