Fall Color (Central IL)

When are the max color change/fall leaf change expected to occur here in Central Illinois - specifically Heyworth/Bloomington Illinois area?

Hi Paul:

Unfortunately, my crystal ball projection for fall leaf color is ultimately controlled by the forces of Mother Nature. Since fall leaf color is controlled by environmental and weather-related phenomena, it is almost impossible to predict the exact date in advance of the glorious panoramic display of yellow, red, purple, and orange colors scattered across the landscape.

However, mid-October generally tends to provide peak to near-peak fall colors here in central Illinois.
