About the only sensible and feasible thing a landowner can do is keep an eye out for sparse crowns and mortality associated with their ash trees. Contact your local IL-DNR district forester if you notice a lot of ash dieback.
Alternatively, if you have a forest management plan on your woodland and your plan recommends timber harvesting in the near future, then I would seriously consider harvesting the majority of merchantable ash on the property. Otherwise, we're pretty much stuck in a wait and see mindset!
