Lifting or Pruning Pin Oaks Adjacent to Driveway

My driveway is lined with eight pin oaks . How hi can I trim them up from the bottom as they hang down pretty low. Thank you

Greetings Don: Two rules: never prune oak trees during the growing season; and never remove more than 50% of a tree's live crown. You will be fine if you adhere to those two rules :-) How to Prune Trees: http://www.na.fs.fed.us/spfo/pubs/howtos/ht_prune/prun001.htm Just remember to use a legitimate pruning saw :-)
