Acorns Production end dates

I need to know when the oak trees will stop producing acorns for this season. They are Pin Oaks, about 100 years old. I have a 15 year old mare who is foundered. The experts tell me that the drout made the sugar content of the coastal greater and on top of that, the mare ate numerous acorns.
