Cleaning Pruning Equipment

Good evening,

Thanks very much for your help. I have some general questions about cleaning my pruning equipment.

1. What is the best way to clean pruning equipment for a home user?

2. How often should I clean the equipment when pruning? Each cut? Each plant?.

Thank you.

Greetings Richard:

1. Disinfect your pruning tools with standard isopropyl alcohol, or rubbing alcohol.

2. Disinfect your tools after each plant/tree to prevent the potential spread of any pathogens to subsequently pruned plants/trees.

Best of luck!
