I was excited to see this posting, as I can't find the info I need: when did Austrian pines begin to be found in this area? I've heard they started being promoted by the government in the 1920s, but were here before that.

Problem is, I can't seem to open the article. The webpage just times out. Is it still available?

I have written PubsPlus and they did not have a copy of this article. I am very interested in this subject and this article seems to be one of the few written on the subject of peddler pines. If anyone has a copy of this article, I would appreciate reading it.

I can't believe it, but I just found the article. I went through a stack of old magazines and found that one among them. Thank you for your time. It was an interesting read. If you know another source for stories or information about peddler pines, I would still be interested.
