We are building a hugelkultur garden and are trying to find a good place to procure the timber. From what I see the best material is old long dead trunks. Who would be a good source to obtain this?

Hi Paul:
Simply try your municipality's local Forestry, Public Works, Streets & Sanitation, or yard waste recycling center--they always have large stem-wood from urban tree removal projects.
