Where and how do I go about procuring black walnut seedlings from the Great State of Illinois?

Greetings Ray: You may be eligible for no-cost seedlings from the Illinois Dept. of Natural Resources IF you have a forest or wildlife management plan on file with your local IDNR forester or biologist. If not, you will need to purchase bareroot seedlings from respectable nurseries specializing in conservation planting stock -- Forrest Keeling Nursery out of Elsberry, MO is your closest conservation grade nursery.
