Hi, my name is Lisa and I am currently studying for my Horticulture degree at College of Du Page. I have a tree planting project but getting a reliable source is a challenge. I am preparing this as an interview and I hope you can help, please. I need to know the following method/steps for Illinois guidelines on planting a balled and bur lapped tree: 1. Hole size, shape, and depth 2. Amending the soil 3. Fertilizing after planting the tree or during? 4. Pruning 5. Watering 6. Staking 7. Mulching 8. Protecting the trunk

Thank you in advance and any information you provide will be utilized by other students during our planting a tree project.

Best of luck!
