Current Hardwood Timber Prices

We are about to have a timber sale. Among this sale are 23 black walnut 10,776 BF + another 4,024 BF veneer. What sort of prices should I be looking at for this? We have some estimates, but I know the more knowledge/estimates we have the better. Thanks!

Hi Lisa: I don't provide appraisals for trees or logs I cannot see, touch, feel, measure, or grade. Two options: (1) Contact a professional consulting forester for an appraisal, or (2) Refer to published timber price reports from Indiana and Illinois. Please note that these reports are 6-12 months in arrears and that stumpage prices have increased over that time period!
