How to Market my Black Walnut Trees (IL)

I would like to get more info on Black Walnut Tree's. I was told to get a county arborist to survey my property and mark the Black Walnut tree's before contacting any sawmills. Is this the correct way to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have 14 acres of land, so I guess they would be forest trees????
