Can't Afford to Have my Tree Removed (MO)

I have a very tall (possibly 100+ft) thick, and old (home built in 66) walnut tree in my backyard. It's an eye sore storm disaster waiting to happen. I'm told harvesters or stave bolt companies will take the wood as payment or pay me for the wood. Do you know of anybody I can contact about having this done?

Hi Sara: I believe you're going to find it very difficult to find someone to pay you to remove your yard tree. Therefore, please contact your local Missouri Dept. of Conservation office for additional guidance regarding this question: http://mdc.mo.gov Best of luck!
