we had bad ice storm lg blk walnut split at trunk how do i protect exposed slit area would prefer to sell wood rather just have someone come and pick up and remove is there value would like to investigate all areas and value dont want someone pulling the wool over my eye this is all new to me have several black walnut trees but dont just want to just give it away would like to learn and be smart about it i love trees help
