I had to take a 91 yr old white ash tree down last year due to emerald borer. I did not have the massive trunk removed, and it has since sprouted new stems, that, this spring look very healthy. Is there a chance that they will survive, and what should I do to attend to it? From what I have read, there's a good chance it will be resistant to the borer, is this true? Or, what can I do to help it? It pained me to have it cut down, it was so magnificent. Thank you on advance
