Can Palo Verde, Mesquite and Ironwood trees be topped with out damaging the tree?

Hi Raquel: Please contact a certified arborist for an onsite assessment regarding these trees as it would be grossly inappropriate for me to respond to your question(s) without physically seeing your trees. However, please note that the vast majority of certified arborists and urban foresters do not condone "topping."
