I have a very large recently deceased English walnut tree in my back yard. A list of companies that would remove the tree safely. Would it be worth anything?

Hi Cathy:
The wood, if there is any that is long enough and straight enough to be sawn into lumber, may be of interest to a local woodworker. However, nobody is going to "pay" you to remove your yard tree.
Check your local yellow pages for certified arborists, or check online with the Illinois Arborist Association:
