Blue Spruce Losing Needles

Our blue spruce have lost their needles starting at the bottom up. Could this be spruce beetle? We also have other varieties of pine that also are damaged. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, blue spruce is definitely a problem species here in the Midwest: A lot of insect and disease issues. It could by Rhizosphaera needle cast, Cytospora (Leucostoma) Canker, Stigmina needle blight, SNEED, etc.
