Oak Trees Damaged by Herbicide Drift (TX)

We have had a number of oak trees that were hand raised and planted on our farm 40+ years ago. They have been severely damaged, (or destroyed) by "drift" coming from a heavy spray of "Grazon Next & Remedy" that the ranger across the road sprayed to kill brush on his pasture. Can you help us to determine the value of these trees, which were specifically planted where they are to supply shade for cattle in pens and surrounding areas. Thank you again!

Greetings Beth:

Here in Illinois, herbicide drift complaints are handled through the IL Dept. of Agriculture. Since you're in Texas, I would strongly encourage you to contact a local forestry expert w/ the Texas A&M Forest Service:

Best of luck!
