I must have two hundred trees on my 3 acres and many are dying especially the Scottish Pines that are losing their needles

Sorry to hear about your Scots pine trees -- this species can definitely struggle here in Illinois!

I would strongly encourage you to reach out to a local resource such as your local IDNR district forester, Mr. Dave Griffith (dave.griffith@illinois.gov) or your local UI Extension Office. Most UI Extension offices have a horticulturist and/or Master Gardeners available to provide assistance to homeowners:
