We purchased and used over 100 plastic tree tubes to facilitate seedling growth and protection. They worked quite well and we removed them as the young plants matured. Our question now is how to recycle or donate the tubes which are now sitting in boxes in our garage.

Hi Deloris:

This is a great question and very considerate of you !!! I would strongly encourage you to contact the McHenry County Conservation District to see if they would accept these tree tubes / shelters for their tree planting projects on public lands.
