Hi. I have a ginkgo that’s had fruit on it every year since I can remember. This year I don’t see any? The leaves bloomed late this year too. Is it still healthy?

Hi Mark:

The lack of fruiting is likely due to either the late spring frost event we had across much of Illinois (the Mother's Day frost event) and/or due to growing season stresses such as draught.

Many trees will bounce back from these events, so I wouldn't worry too much about that lack of fruit this year.
