No Acorns on Young Oak Tree (WA)

We have an Oak tree not sure whick kind. Probably white Oak the leaves have rounded ends. We have never had an acorn on it. The tree is probably 15 years old.

Hi Marlene:

Depending on the species, some oaks can bear acorns as early as 8-15 years, but many oaks won't start bearing acorns until age 20-30. Significant acorn production often takes 50+ years, but there are always exceptions to that rule of thumb!!!
