I two large oaks in my yard. One oak is producing a lot of nice acorns. The other tree isn't producing any. They are about 30" apart. Is that unusual?

Hi Jon:

No, that is not necessarily unusual as there are many different oak species and many factors that come into play (species; age/sexual maturity; health/vigor; weather [late spring frosts; heavy spring rains; growing season droughts], insects/diseases; local disturbance; etc.).
