i grew some prudue seedlings in an above ground container, had to keep covered to keep tree rats out. unfortunately , i didn't take the screen off soon enough and the seedlings have a crook in them. will this crook of 1/2 in grow out or should i plant and cut off at top of ground?

also, is it ok to trim roots before planting? these thing grew like weeds, 4 ft in one year.

At this stage the crook should grow out of them as they continue to increase in diameter. Yes, you can root prune seedlings before planting, just not too heavily.
