Good Morning, My name is Colby Willison and I own about three acres of land in Oakland, Il. It is a heavily wooded area and I'm interested in logging it so I can use the money to build on the land. I don't know anything about logging and would like to know what I have and how best to have property logged without destroying the land. I have heard it is best to have a someone from forestry management come out to educate me before logging. Please let me know what my first step would be in moving forward with this proscess.
