Collecting Firewood (IL)

I'm trying to find out who to contact about collecting down trees for fire wood in vermilion county. Or if there is a permit I can buy to collect downed trees from certain places in my area. buying firewood isn't worth it to me when I have everything I need to go cut, collect, and split it myself for a fraction of the price.

Hi Jarad: You will need written consent and permission from the site manager/superintendent (public) or landowner, if private property.
