Ask Extension - Local tree planting programs (Tree Planting)

I would like to get a tree planting program in Putnam County Illinois . I need someone to excite interest in this. I have spoken to our local conservation and local DNR representative and did not have much luck. Is there any way I can get someone to assist me? I live in a HOAand our Tree Hugger Commission planted 26 oak and maple trees last fall. Any help you can give me is appreciated.

I would recommend reaching out to Trees Forever -https://treesforever.org/. They are a non-profit organization based in Illinois and Iowa that do a lot of work in residential areas. They would have the best information on potential financial assistance programs for planting residential trees.
