Selling and Milling Timber in IL

i have white , red oak and hickory the guy that i have gotten a estimate from will be cut harvesting and milling the timber him self he has offered me 0.18 cents or 18 cents per board foot is this a good price or should i look else where there is 3 - 4 other guys in my area that do the same

Hi Brett: Definitely not a good deal for you!!! How many trees are you harvesting? Why not contact a professional consulting forester to assist you in marking and marketing your timber to the highest prospective bidder?
