I am currently trying to write a paper on the "Best" Prunus. Because they are subject to disease I am having some difficultly. What do you think the "Best" one is?

Not only are "Prunus"plants disease prone but also insect prone. I can not think of any if I want a long term plant. Short term (less than 15 years) I would consider a sand cherry if kept properly pruned.
