I dug up my garlic when the tops died back, and the bulbs are very small. How can I get larger bulbs? Should I replant these? Thank you.

You can leave garkic cloves in the ground right through the winter in your area. In fact harvesting in the winter increases the strenghth of the flavor. If the "bulb" is about the size of a ping pong ball you are running average for most home gardens. For larger "bulbs", grow on good well drained loam soil that can be irrigated if needed. garlic does best in full sun.
