After flowering Amaryllis bulbs should be grown in sunny conditions. Set the pot outdoors after all danger of frost. In September bring indoors and stop watering for 6 weeks. This dormant period will help to induce the plant to flower again. After dormant period, start watering. Plant should start new leaves and flower buds.
