Won't bloom again

I also have two climbing rose bushes. The white one is not getting any taller and continues to bloom constantly. The yellow one has grown to over 7 foot, it bloomed in full glory in June, and hasn't bloomed since it started getting its height. Should I be pruning it to get blooms?

It may be that your yellow rose just has one flush of bloom and should be pruned in early summer right after flowering. When pruning you can stimulate more flower production by cutting back the side shoots to 3-6 inches.
