Hello Nancy:
Houseplants can drip moisture if conditions are right. The moisture is likely to be sap or extra water if you will that the plant does not need. Moisture is actively pumped up into the plant and at times shows up like this. You may have watered prior to seeing this. Normally outdoors there is enough of a breeze that the droplets are knocked off and you do not see them. If any pruning as occured you can see droplets then too until the wound seals itself off. The sap itself can be sticky, so be sure to clean the floor often while this is going on.
