Weeping Katsura

I am the Lead Grounds Tech for Kaskaskia College located in Centralia, IL. We have an arboretum on campus and have a request for a Weeping Katsura (Ceridiphyllum japonicum 'Pendula') We are having a difficult time trying to locate one. None of the nursuries or vendors we use can find one. If you have any idea, I would appreciate your assistance. Thank you

Hello Wadella, Weeping Katsura is a beautiful tree, very desirable in the landscape and not planted often enough. Beaver Creek Nursery (www.beavercreeknursery.com/ lists Ceridiphyllum japonicum 'Pendula' in their growing catelog. they have a wholesale and retail side.
