I have the last remaining leaf from a plant that was included in an arrangement from Collinsville, Illinois. The small leaf is green and edged in white, soft, velvety texture, fragrant similar to sage. I am trying to identify the plant and hopefully purchase one. Can you help? Thank you.

Dear Jackie: I believe you may be describing Pineapple Mint, given you noted that is is velvety in texture. If it is a mint, the stem will be square in shape. It will also have a pleasing frangrance. Take a picture of it before you lose all evidence and take it along with you to your local florists or garden centers and hopefully they will be able to identify it for you.
