Several clumps of hepatica have made it in my perennial garden and I would like to know if I were to pot one up and bring it inside for the winter would it make it?

The Hepatica I am familiar with would expect to have a dormancy period, setting things up for bloom next spring. If you bring the plant indoors, growth will continue, but likely very loose, spindly in appearence since it will not get clue to to go dormant. I would also suspect that it will not flower for you indoors. It is worth the experiment to find out if you have the space. Sincerely, Richard
