Stella di oro day lilies

I have 4 of these plants in black mulch around a tree. I wish I could send a photo. They have bulbs on them but they show no tendency towards blooming. Are these bulbs post or pre bloom? Thanks, Gary

The bulbs are probably post-bloom and I'm guessing they are seedpods. Once daylilies flower, they often set seedpods that are about 1 inch in size. If they are in fact seedpods, there would've been flowers.
