Plant evergreen

My two evergreens died this past winter, can I plant a new large evergreen to replace the two that died in the middle of Oct?

Yes, if their death was weather related and not a disease. Fall is a good time to plant. Be sure to water late into the season to be sure plants have lots of water for the winter. Evergreens can also be protected from drying winter winds with a temporary windbreak.
