Ours needs pruned. Some sites say to prune in the Fall, and others say late Winter. What do you think? Looking forward to hearing back. Thx!!!

Houseplants go into a rest period as we enter fall and winter because of the reduced light levels. It is generally not a good time to do thing with houseplants such as feeding, pruning etc. Pruning is a stress to the plant, and Ficus, being rather tempermental plants, wouldn't need another stress with the shorter days we have. I think it best to wait until late winter/spring before doing any pruning to the tree.
